Duncan Stewart Memorial Competition

At the AGM in June a decision was made to launch a new event to recognise the significant contribution of Duncan Stewart to the ECA and curling in general.

I am very pleased to confirm that ice has been booked at the Borders Ice Rink (Kelso) on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th October 2010.

We are looking for at least 32 curlers to participate.

Rinks will be drawn at the event - so you can enter as an individual

Sheets have been booked at 1.30 and 7.30 on 16th 9.30 and 1.30 on 17th

I propose that we will have a meal together at the ice rink for tea on Saturday (I have asked that if the ice bookings change that we have the chance of a 5.30 session so that the meal can follow curling on
Saturday)

You can enter by emailing myself - indicate if you have a preferred playing position, as we will draw rinks on 16th at the ice rink!

I will update you on progress about the meal - assuming we will have at least 32 attending

You will need to sort out your own accommodation
